Travel:

For anyone flying to the area, the two closest airports are Roanoke (ROA) and Charlotte Douglass (CLT).

Roanoke is only 44 miles away, but it’s a very small airport with only 5 gates. Charlotte is roughly three hours away, but the chances of finding direct and/or cheaper flights is greater.
